Delta Lloyd Life is an expert in life insurances. The wellbeing of their 500 employees is of great importance to the company. Therefore Delta Lloyd Life wanted to streamline their HR processes and way of working. The HR Transformation went hand in hand with the implementation of a new HR software.

Emeritis was chosen as partner to guide them through this transformation process.

First we did a review of the internal organization and processes to uncover administrative bottlenecks and to make sure Delta Lloyd Life was ready for the digitalization of their processes. Emeritis organized team workshops, using Business Process Management techniques.

In the second phase the complex/unclear procedures defined during the review process were simplified. We provided direct and accessible information for all employees.

Last but not least, the transition needed to be supported with the right communication- and training material for both HR, managers and employees. In close collaboration with the internal communication specialist of Delta Lloyd Life, Emeritis provided demo’s, onepagers, step-by-step guides and presentations for both Employees and Managers.

Today Delta Lloyd Life has an optimized HR Service Delivery modelwith 4 tiers: Intranet guidelines, HR mailbox, HR desk and Expert center. Theinternal HR organization is process driven with aligned responsibilities. They see a reduced stress & workload for HRdue to the centralization of the handling of basic HR questions. Due to a stronger focus on self service they empower and engage Managers & Employees.
